As a Patient Safety Attendant, you'll provide one-on-one support to patients, helping keep them safe, comfortable, and cared for. This is a very hands-on, physically demanding role—you'll be on your feet, assisting with bathing, feeding, mobility, vital signs, blood glucose checks, and fall prevention while providing constant observation.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: Previous hospital experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
• De-Escalation Techniques (within 90 days of employment), required.
• Life Support Responder (within 90 days of employment), required.
• Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) Training (within 90 days after completion of De-Escalation Training), required.
• Additional Skills Required:
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing as applicable. Is knowledgeable regarding guidelines for infection control, body substance precautions, patient safety, and body mechanics. Maintains acceptable standards set by those guidelines.
• Ability to work with all age group patients or act as a companion.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
