The Arc Lexington is looking for a Safety & Wellness Coordinator

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on coordination, data-driven analysis, collaboration, and employee engagement-and who wants their work to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Do

Our Safety & Wellness Coordinator will coordinate workplace safety, injury prevention, and OSHA compliance. This role will manage workers' compensation claims, employee injury reporting, and return-to-work programs. They will support employee wellness programs focused on health, attendance, and injury reduction, and track, analyze, and report safety, injury, and workers' compensation data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent certification (RN, LPN, PT, Safety Professional, Health Coach, etc.)
  • 2–4 years of experience in safety, wellness, HR, or workers' compensation
  • Strong communication, organization, and data skills
  • Ability to work independently and present information to groups
  • Valid driver's license

The Arc Lexington provides services and supports in Fulton, Albany, and Schoharie Counties to approximately 1,300 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, mental illness, cerebral palsy, physical disabilities, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injuries.
