Our award-winning client is seeking a Safety and Security Manager to join their team. As our Safety and Security Manager, you'll play a vital role in protecting our employees, assets, and reputation. In this crucial position, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to cultivate a safe, secure, and compliant work environment for everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and continuously improve our comprehensive safety program, working closely with operations to identify and eliminate hazards.
• Develop and deliver essential safety training programs, ensuring all employees possess the knowledge and skills to work safely.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate safety into company culture, driving down risks and fostering a strong safety-first mindset.
• Partner with key departments like HR, QA, and IT to strengthen security protocols, safeguard assets, and minimize risks.
• Serve as the primary contact for our external security provider, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective security practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (in occupational safety preferred) + 5 years in occupational loss reduction, or Associate's degree + 10 years in the same field.
• Must have regulated manufacturing environment experience.
• Food experience is preferred
• Certifications: CSM and OSHA 501 (obtainable within the first year if needed).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email software.
