We are seeking two experienced Safety & Recovery Partners to join our team and provide regionally aligned WHS leadership across our operations.
In this trusted partnering role, you will drive injury prevention, operational compliance, and proactive risk management while supporting a geographically dispersed and culturally diverse workforce. Working closely with leaders, you will deliver strategic, operational, and day-to-day WHS and injury management support that aligns with organisational priorities and values.

📍 Southern NSW – Nowra, ACT, Wagga Wagga, Merimbula, Tura Beach
In this role you will:
Implement regional safety strategies aligned with operational risks and business priorities.
Deliver targeted injury prevention initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Maintain and enhance the WHS Management System to ensure legislative and organisational compliance.
Provide practical, risk-based WHS advice and support across operations.
Monitor safety performance and implement interventions to reduce incidents and injuries.
Promote a positive safety culture through accountability, engagement, and proactive risk management.
Coach and support operational leaders to build capability and achieve WHS objectives.
Lead early intervention and return-to-work strategies to optimise recovery outcomes.
Ensure emergency management preparedness and compliance across all sites.
Partner with leaders to embed consistent, compliant, and effective WHS practices.
Our expectations are that you have:
Diploma or higher qualification in Work Health and Safety.
Allied Health qualification in Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or a related discipline.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
5–10 years' experience in a WHS, injury management, rehabilitation, or related role.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and the ISO 45001 standard.
Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, auditing, and risk management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and present accurate WHS reports, metrics, and insights.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
An interest in working within residential aged care and/or home care environments.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
