
The candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety safety and environmental measures and initiatives to ensure compliance with HSSE requirements & meeting regulatory standards. In addition, the expectation is to be in a regular contact across the stadium operations at all level including, directors, manager, supervisors, contractors, service providers and external entities on HSSE issues.
Key duties:
· Provide advisory and consultation to staff and assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards and practices.
· Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the Workplace this includes occupational health, safety and environment.
· conducts and coordinates on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices and performs construction site and/or area safety inspections and operations.
· Performs job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analyses and safe work procedures, and prepares written reports and recommendations.
· Develops controls for identified hazards and coordinates implementation controls and measure or evaluates the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies and procedures in addition of recommends changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate work place incidents and injuries.
· Lead and coordinate safety orientations, safety training, and job site inspection procedures. In addition to the development of specialized education and training materials when needed
· Manage Contractors and service providers HSSE compliance and provide regular report or as needed
· Reviews and analyzes injury, property damage, and statistical loss data and works with management to prepare comprehensive recommendations, corrective action to eliminate or minimize potential hazards
· Assists management with monitoring adherence to safety program by employees and contractors.
Requirements
· 8-10 Years of Experience with BS degree in safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science.
· Must have knowledge occupational health, safety and environmental compliance with applicable industry,
· governmental and/or international standards.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with great ability to lead and direct teams
