We are seeking a passionate Safety Advisor to join the team at Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW) who will support leaders to achieve a world class safety culture.
We are Australia’s largest pure-play coal producer generating over $10 billion in Foreign Direct Investment; owning, operating or participating in coal mines across NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.

Owned and Operated by Yancoal Australia, Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW) is an open cut mine that provides the opportunity to live and work locally. Located 15 kilometres south-west of Singleton in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, MTW relies on both dragline and load haul systems for their continuous operations. The MTW Mine is the largest open cut operation in the region, employing approximately 1,450 people who reside in the local and surrounding communities.
This role reports to the site Health and Safety Superintendent. As the Safety Advisor, you will support all safety and risk related tasks across site whilst ensuring alignment to the Yancoal values and behaviours. In particular, you will be required to:
