About your Role
We are currently recruiting for a Safety Advisor,locatedat ourBrisbaneOffice. This is a 12-month fixed term, Monday to Friday role.
This position will coordinate all aspects of Health, Safety, Sustainability & Risk Management to Hastings Deering employees working at Business Centre operations.
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to:
Provide expert advice andassistancetofacilitatea safe working environment and ensure that all work practices arein accordance withCompany policy and recognised and legislatedWorkHealth & Safety regulations and procedures
Inspect or evaluate workplace environments,equipmentor practices to ensure compliance
Assistin themaintenanceand optimisationof the Safety Management System in accordancetoHastings Deering and legislative requirements
Facilitate Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) investigations asrequired
Coordinateincident investigation,reportingand corrective actions
Ensure environmental policies and procedures are adhered to
Develop and implement site-specific safety strategies and initiatives
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Formal qualification/s inWorkHealth and Safety(minimumCertificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety)
HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing(desirable)
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment(desirable)
Minimum 3years experienceinsimilar role
Incident investigation and reporting experience
