Safety Administrator - Cedar Rapids, IA

This position will assist the safety team at the Cedar Rapids complex by providing administrative processing in order to maintain compliance with OSHA and ADM standards.

Specific Job Duties

• Update required safety training to report compliance.
• Schedule required triennial safety training.
• Collect and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Perform analytics and statistical analysis to identify trends, and focus areas of improvement.
• Performs clerical duties such as record keeping and report generation
• Initiate purchase orders, match invoices and resolve accuracy issues for the safety department.
• Assist with organizing New Hire Orientation
• Audit and review required permits.
• Performs similar or related duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and must learn the plant administrative software (Guardian, COUPA) system and become proficient in a reasonable time.

• Must be dependable, ethical and professional

Preferred Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED, required

Environment

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs from waist to shoulder on an occasional basis
• Must be able to push/pull 10 lbs on an occasional basis
• Must be able to walk 1-3 hours
• Must be able to stand 1-3 hours
• Must be able to sit 5-8 hours
• Must be able to squat/kneel on an occasional basis
• Constant computer/keyboarding and telephone use
• Constant contact and communication with others
• Must be able to use a hardhat, earplugs, safety glasses, steel toe shoes and gloves when out in the plant

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$35,400.00 - $66,600.00
