Safeguarding Trainer – Fixed Term Contract (6 Months)
Job Role: We currently have an exciting 6-month opportunity for a Safeguarding Trainer to join our Safeguarding Team, delivering high-quality training across the organisation.
In this role, you will lead engaging and impactful safeguarding training sessions, equipping colleagues with the knowledge and confidence to apply safeguarding principles in their roles.
You’ll deliver both virtual and face-to-face sessions across a range of topics, including safeguarding children and adults, safer recruitment, modern slavery, and radicalisation. You’ll also work closely with subject matter experts to ensure all training content is accurate, consistent, and aligned to organisational standards.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary of £32,000 to £39,000 pa pro rata, dependant on experience and these great benefits:

• Deliver engaging safeguarding training (virtual and in-person) across multiple topic areas
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all participants
• Prepare and adapt training materials to suit different audiences
• Work with subject matter experts to maintain high-quality content
• Gather learner feedback and report on attendance and outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve training delivery and learner experience
• Experience delivering training in a professional setting
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Ability to manage group dynamics and adapt to different learning styles
• Confident using digital platforms (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, LMS)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive topics professionally
Desirable:
• Experience in safeguarding or delivering safeguarding training
