Team Manager | 10286 | permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £50,166 to £54,277 per annum | Grade L | Norwich

Are you passionate about protecting adults with care and support needs, committed to the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal, relational and outcome focused practice, and keen to lead a dynamic team?

If so, Norfolk County Council is seeking an enthusiastic person for the role of a Safeguarding Adults Team Manager within Adult Social Care. This is an opportunity to work as part of a vibrant team, collaborating with a range of professionals who share your commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of Norfolk’s residents.

As Safeguarding Adults Team Manager, you will drive best practice and quality in safeguarding enquiries, inspire practitioners, and nurture their development in safeguarding practice. Your leadership will support ongoing professional growth, ensuring the team is at the forefront of best practice around safeguarding, with the relevant knowledge and skills.

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated person to help lead the Safeguarding Adults Team, who champion high standards and can support the professional development of practitioners. You will be an effective communicator, with a proven track record of working collaboratively with other professionals and organisations to make a difference in the lives of adults.

You need to be registered with Social Work England as a practising Social Worker or with the Health and Care Professions Council as a practising Occupational Therapist.

We offer a £2,000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Work or Occupational Therapy Team Managers new to Norfolk County Council. Amount to be repaid in full should you leave within two years of employment.

For experienced Social Workers or Occupational Therapists new to Norfolk County Council, we promise to try and match or better your existing salary, providing it’s in the spectrum of the grade advertised.
