Job Description
We're looking for a Safe Work Manager for a major rail project in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you'll act as a crucial link between the main contractor and our client, primarily handling project planning and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting Attendance: You'll participate in various project meetings to stay informed about safety, planning, and progress.
- Documentation: Creating and submitting necessary paperwork, like safety reports and project documents.
- Client Planning: Making sure that the client's planning procedures are consistently followed.
- Meeting Coordination: Besides internal meetings, you'll be part of client meetings
- Staff Scheduling: Arranging and booking safety-critical staff as needed for the project.
Requirements:
- Planning Experience: Experience in planning, especially for rail projects.
- Worksite Management: Previous experience in overseeing complex worksites is a plus.
- Location: You need to either live in Cork or be willing to temporarily move there.
- SWM/ES Experience
Contract Details:
- Contract Length: The initial contract is for six months, with the possibility of an extension.
- Working Hours: You'll work from 08:00 to 16:30
- Work Arrangement: The job offers a mix of remote work and on-site work in Cork. The exact on-site days will be discussed and agreed upon.
