The SaaS Backend/Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and platform components that power our AI platform. You will work closely with Product, Delivery, and Client Success teams to translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions, contributing to system design, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with customer needs.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and platform components for AI products.
Consult and support the project team to incorporate integration architecture into the overall enterprise architecture.
Design and develop APIs and integration interfaces to requirements, following defined coding standards.
Ensure code quality, performance, and security through proper testing and code reviews.
Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely resolutions.
Support production environment preparation and go-live.
Collaborate with Front-end, Product, and AI teams to deliver new features.
Support Client Success across pre-sales activities — presentations, proposals, demos, POC workshops, and technical materials that help customers adopt our products and services.
Achieve target certifications aligned with the company’s core competency plan.
Attend mandatory training programs for personal and technical development.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development.
Experience with microservices architecture and designing scalable systems.
Basic experience with, or strong interest in, AI / LLM-based systems.
Working knowledge of AWS services.
Strong experience with Python or Go.
Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Echo (or similar frameworks).
Familiarity with Docker and container-based development.
Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, SNS).
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and environments.
Able to assist with integration architecture - data flow, technical design documents, and basic integration specifications.
