S2P Tail Spend Supervisor

A day in the life of...

Manage and lead IBS Tail Spend team driving selection of suppliers, tendering, negotiation, and support awarding for tail spend categories as per defined strategies and guidance, business priorities, Group policies and principles. Implement the required tools and systems to effectively manage the activities and improve cost, compliance, and transparency.

• Drive tail-spend optimization through automation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with tail-spend processes and policies.
• Deliver agreed cost savings, cost reduction targets, and departmental goals.
• Maintain strong market intelligence across assigned procurement categories.
• Support and drive organizational goal alignment.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and minimizes attrition.
• Develop and enhance reporting and dashboards to provide operational and management visibility.
• Continuously improve procurement processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Strengthen procurement technology adoption and tool utilization across the team.

What Will Make You Successful

• Experience in Procurement, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering business value through effective sourcing and buying strategies.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and managing people.
• Strong negotiation skills, with experience working across functions and markets.
• Effective business partnering, stakeholder management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office applications, and procurement/buying tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive collaboration and influence outcomes in a matrix organization.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
