About the role

TheFood Runnerservicesrestaurant areas by promptlydeliveringfood items,clearingand resetting tables, andassistingwait staff.

What you will do

•    Pick up food items fromkitchen, check order for accuracy and quality before delivering andserveguest

•    Promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens,china,glass,and silverware for service in a discreet manner.

•    Anticipate guest needs,ascertainsatisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

•    Assist in stocking linens,china, glass, silver, and food items for service;assistin preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.

•    Breakdown, clean and set-up sidestations and heart of house areas.

What you bring

•    At least 6months of food serviceexperience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.

•    Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

•    Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions.Willingto work in a fast-paced environment.

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.

•    Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40lbs.
