Job Description

Acadian Ambulance Services, Inc., has an immediate opening for a part-time Runner in San Antonio, TX. The schedule of this position is predicted to be flexible with occasional weekend shifts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver and pick up company vehicles as requested to assist fleet maintenance with the performance of preventative maintenance or repairs.
  • Pick up and deliver vehicle parts and supplies.
  • Review equipment on ambulance and complete equipment checklists.
  • Stock ambulances with equipment, to include stretchers, oxygen bottles and other items which could weigh over 50 lbs.
  • Wash company vehicles.
  • Re-fuel company vehicles.
  • Assist with shop maintenance—this includes, but is not limited to, sweeping, trash disposal, organizing supplies.
  • Work with supervisors and crew members to coordinate the transference of vehicles to and from the vehicle maintenance shop.
  • Perform all other duties as requested by supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Clean driving record
  • Current driver’s license
