Whatyou’lldo

Reporting to theSales Manager(Ireland), youwill oversee the continued development of the business for thesouthern Irish regionby actively promoting,marketingand executingB2B account managementstrategiesand sales effortsfor theruminantsgroup

The goal is to build andmaintaina strong professional network within the ruminant industry to support long-term growth in Ireland.

This role will be key in supporting the introduction and positioning ofTrouw’sruminant product portfolio in the Irish market, while ensuring alignment with local farming practices and customer needs.

Finally, the Account Manager will provide technical advice and on-site support to customers, promotingoptimalfeed usage and improved herd performance, while actively collecting market insights and customer feedback to inform and refine market entry and growth strategies.

We’re looking for someone who is responsible, accountable and ready to Own this role. Someone who is confident, credible, influential and able to lead from the front.

Your experience willdemonstratean ability to build andmaintaineffective relationships both internally and externally with customersand stakeholders  You will be an innovative thinker and adaptable in your approach.

You’ll also need:  

  • Proven experience leading commercialandoraccount management efforts within themilk powders, farm minerals, animal health products, feed ingredients,or B2Badded value productssegments.

  • Strong analyticalmindsetand communication skills,with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and build trust. 

  • Willingness to travel to customers within thesouth of Irelandand occasionally abroad. 

  • To feel comfortable working in a matrixed organization with both regional and global stakeholders.  

  • Bachelor's or master'sdegree inveterinary science, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field, is desirable.
