Job Description

The supervisor in Beverage is expected to ensure the smooth operation of the service staff on all shifts and all outlets. They must interact with the customers to ensure the guest experience exceeds their expectations. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the outlet’s operations including but not limited to cleanliness standards, service standards, customer service standards, and safety standards.

  • Uphold all standards set forth by the Company with regards to customer service, customer satisfaction, cleanliness, and safety

  • Uphold, abide by and enforce company alcohol and drug policies and procedures

  • Ensure all productivity goals set by the department are being met on each shift

  • Provide the proper training to each employee and conduct follow-up sessions to ensure training is effective

  • Schedule appropriately according to business levels to minimize costs and maximize service

  • Perform end of shift functions such as payroll, ordering, scheduling, recaps, etc.

  • Issue performance evaluations, positive and corrective feedback, disciplinary action, etc.

  • Keep great employer/employee relationships and keep the lines of communication open

  • Interview, select and train new Beverage Team Members.

  • Adjust rates of pay and hours of work

  • Direct the work of Team Members, recognize accomplishments, perform evaluations and ensure productivity and efficiency of their work.

  • Follow and enforce company safety standards

  • Handle Beverage Team Member complaints, discipline as necessary, and provide for safety and security by monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English

  • Must be computer literate

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Dexterity to utilize tools

  • Ability to move quickly

  • Subject to bright lights

  • Ability to sit, stand climb stairs and/or walk for long periods of time

  • Work in hot or cold temperatures, confined spaces, dusty environment

  • Constant guest and team member contact

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, twist, hear, type, and tolerate high noise areas

  • Work in outdoor weather conditions (hot/cold)

  • Work in second-hand smoke environment

  • Push/Pull up to 100 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Accurate money/chip handling

GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
