The Rubber Case Pack Technical Associate is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, focusing on the technical aspects of rubber component packaging within a medical device production environment. This role ensures efficient and compliant packaging processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on case packing equipment, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
  • Monitor and adjust packaging line parameters to optimize efficiency, product quality, and minimize waste.
  • Conduct quality checks on packaged rubber components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist in the setup and changeover of packaging equipment for different product types and sizes.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues affecting packaging performance, escalating complex problems to engineering or maintenance teams.
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and quality control results accurately.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging processes and equipment reliability.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, quality systems (e.g., ISO, GMP), and company policies.
  • Train and mentor less experienced operators on packaging equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to address packaging-related challenges.


Job Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Technology) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in medical device, pharmaceutical, or rubber molding industries.
  • Proven technical aptitude with experience in operating, troubleshooting, and performing minor maintenance on production equipment.
  • Familiarity with automated packaging machinery and systems.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO standards is a plus.
