Job Description

Job Purpose

We are looking for an RTR Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day General Ledger operations, supporting audits, driving process improvements, and acting as a key point of contact for RTR-related matters. You will also support and oversee the work of RTR Accountants and contribute to departmental projects and standardization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day General Ledger operations: journal entries posting, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets accounting, month-end closing tasks, intercompany reconciliation, various reports’ preparation and analysis
  • Leads departmental projects and standardization initiatives
  • Takes initiative to improve processes, communication or overall work environment
  • Ensures daily operations are carried out according to the Group finance policies and the J-SOX requirements
  • Coordinate group audit process
  • First line contact and support to any RTR related queries
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively manage priorities
  • Supports verification and control over balance sheet reconciliations, closing checklists completion and intercompany reconciliations performed by RTR Accountants
  • Oversees KPI analysis, root cause identification and improvement suggestions
  • Supports a Team Leader in any additional activities such as projects coordination and ad hoc requests

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger processes

Technical Skills:

  • Very good knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to review, understand, and interpret financial data

Languages Skills:

  • Fluent English

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

  • High level of customer service and communication skills
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement and automation
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
