RTR Accounting Expert

Your tasks and Responsibilities:

• Execute Accounting Operations for Asset Management (AM) timely and qualitatively
• Manage postings related to the entire asset lifecycle, including assets held for sale, acquisitions, retirements, sales, leasebacks, and more;
• Interact with key business functions like Controlling, Procurement, Product Supply, Legal, and Financial Accounting to ensure proper accounting practices;
• Ensure operational effectiveness of the internal control system relevant to Financial Statements preparation and presentation;
• Contribute to global and local initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures;
• Support optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency;
• Conduct training activities and identify training needs within the team.

Who You Are:

• Very good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/MSR/Ustawa o rachunkowosci)
• Very good English and German language skills - must have (B2)
• Knowledge of the "Intercompany" transactionExperience (min 5 years) in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Controlling or relevant experience & demonstrated understanding of external reporting / auditing
• Very good knowledge of the life cycle of a fixed asset, the investment process, principles of activating fixed assets, transfers, sale of fixed assets, etc.
• Ability to swiftly understand and adjust posting logic as needed for regulatory changes.
