The Shift Lead position provides oversight and supervision to Recovery Support Specialists, oversite of clients in residential setting, and oversite of facility conditions to assure that high quality of services is being rendered to the client population served. The Shift Leads reports directly to the Site Supervisor.

The Site Supervisor performs an integral role in carrying out the mission of The Counseling Center, Inc., by performing the following duties:

Secondary functions are duties, which are not exclusive of the position, can be performed by other positions; however, secondary duties are performed for the efficiency of The Counseling Center, Inc.
COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of chemical dependency, clinical practice and performance.
Ability in the area of effective communication, documentation, interpersonal skills and decision making.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, clinical teams, Compass Point Housing, Compass Community Health, and all others as needed.
Ability to effectively provide supervision and guidance to program staff members and to motivate and train employees.
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, INCLUDING TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Must have experience as Recovery Support Specialist.
Preferred supervisor experience.
Experience working with chemically dependent people and their families preferred.
Knowledge of alcoholism and other addictions preferred.
Must be available to cover 1st and 2nd shift hours and be available by telephone any hours as needed.
Maintain CPR and First Aid training.
