Responsible for the successful operations of the Race and Sports book during assigned

shift. Ensure that employees conduct all services and transactions according to

Company policies and gaming regulations.

• Oversee that daily operations of the Race and Sports Book run smoothly and

effectively.

• Verify compliance with Title 31 and Reg. 22, log transactions that fall under state

reporting thresholds.

• Ensure that employees perform services and transactions in accordance with

Company policies and gaming regulations.

• Fully understand and ability to operate betting terminals, as well as Race & Sports

betting system.

• Set schedule and maintain TV channels for Race & Sports book as well as control

TV’s throughout casino.

• Supervise Race & Sports personnel and administer discipline up to and including

discharge. Coach and offer guidance to team members.

• Maintain written records and documents of shift transactions, gaming regulations,

personnel actions, etc.

• Reporting safety and maintenance issues within a timely manner before end of

shift.

• Handle guest comments and complaints in a timely manner in accordance with

Company policies.

• Assuring Race & Sports book is properly equipped by monitoring supply stock and

ordering of supplies

• Approve winning payoffs over specified limits.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must have two (2) years of experience working in Race & Sports.

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must have excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as

required by local gaming regulations.

• Ability to operate Stadium computer software system.
