
Conduct pre-inspections to determine required service levels for particular highway structures. Coordinate and conduct pre and post inspections of Adopt-A-Highway sites, provide written reports, digital photos, also provide recommendations to the Director as needed. Conduct reviews of field inspection to determine if all criteria for adoption of a highway are met. Assisting in permit coordination based on the logistical data observed in the field. Assisting with the coordination of supplies and storage, including the delivery of supplies to volunteer groups, including the creation of receipts and tracking inventory. Review and process Adopt-A-Highway applications/contracts. Coordinate and conduct highway site inspections, determining if required service levels are adequate, and/or completed as scheduled. Create weekly written summary reports of inspections and notifications to be reviewed by Director. Assisting with the maintenance of the unit’s vehicles such as scheduling and delivering vehicles for preventative maintenance appointments, repairs, and car washes.

License Requirement
Must possess a motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York. This license must be maintained for the duration of employment.
