Deliverable:

  Support the establishment, sustainment, and continued maturation of the Product Management practice within DCO.
• 
  This includes maintaining current cloud services and on-premises hosting product deliverables while advancing product capabilities, governance, and delivery maturity across the branch.

  The deliverable also provides product management support to priority

  Operations Plan initiatives related to enterprise cloud services, data and analytics platforms, and on-premises hosting services, including roadmap development, service evolution, and investment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Sustain and manage existing cloud and on-premises hosting service products to ensure continuity, quality, and alignment with branch priorities.
• 
  Mature and operationalize product management practices, artefacts, and governance across DCO.
• 
  Support planning, execution, and reporting for Operational Planning initiatives spanning cloud services, data platforms, and hosting services.
• 
  Translate strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps and service evolution plans.
• 
  Track progress, risks, dependencies, and provide clear, decision-ready updates for senior leadership.

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• 
  HM is looking for Technical Architect with Business
  background or senior IT Business Analyst focusing on Cloud services and
  Enterprise Platforms.
• 
  Demonstrated experience in platform product management for
  complex cloud services, data and analytics platforms
• 
  Strong and experience with demonstrated how business
  requirements were elicited, analyzed, documented, validated, and managed while
  collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, technical teams, and
  project resources to deliver technology solutions aligned with business
  objectives.
• 
  Prior experience working with IaaS, PaaS along with Azure
  and AWS.

Skill Set Requirements:

Platform Product Management Experience:

• 
  Demonstrated experience in platform product management for complex cloud services, data and analytics platforms, on-premises hosting services, or comparable enterprise technologies. The proponent must demonstrate experience developing product strategies, business cases, product roadmaps, and service plans to support the planning, operationalization, sustainment, and evolution of enterprise technology services.

Business Analysis and Product Planning:

• 
  Demonstrated experience providing senior business analysis services for large, complex IT initiatives. The proponent must demonstrate how business requirements were elicited, analyzed, documented, validated, and managed while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, technical teams, and project resources to deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

Approach, Communication, and Stakeholder Engagement:

• 
  Clear, practical approach to delivering the work, including how the resource will engage stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, decision-ready materials. Emphasis on communication quality, structure, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment.

Platform Product Operationalization:

• 
  Demonstrated experience operationalizing enterprise platform products or services. The proponent must demonstrate experience planning and coordinating service design, operational readiness, governance, and cross-functional activities required to introduce new cloud services, data and analytics platforms, on-premises hosting services, or comparable enterprise technologies into production.

Large Organizations Experience:

• 
  Demonstrated experience delivering product management, business analysis, or related advisory services within large enterprise or public-sector environments. The proponent must demonstrate experience navigating complex governance structures, collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups, and supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
• 
  Experience within the Ontario Public Service or broader public sector will be considered an asset.
