RQ09858 - Int. Project Manager/Leader

Toronto (College St.)

On-site (under the discretion of the Hiring Managers requirements)

Contract 5 months, 1 extension

Security Level: CRJMC

• Support the Sr. Project Manager to manage, oversee, track and update large complex projects; including scheduling, risk management, deliverables, and associated documentation.
• Provide support to the project team and Ministry partners to complete and manage all required aspects of the project.
• Work with project team to ensure successful delivery for the Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) project.

Must-Haves:

1. In-depth knowledge of, and direct experience applying all phases (concept, definition, planning, implementation, and closeout) of advanced project management concepts, practices, and procedures to a large-scale, complex, high-value projects in order to meet critical timelines.
2. A team player with the ability to lead multiple tasks, act independently, support the Sr. PM on the file, and empower junior staff.
3. Strong experience working on/in public safety radio and/ or the telecommunications field.
4. Ability to proactively identify risks, issues, or problems, gather relevant information, perform analysis, develop options and recommendations; and build reports to support decision-making on project scope, schedule, cost, etc.
