RQ09849 - Sr. Technology Architect

Toronto (Jarvis St.) - Hybrid

- From October 20, 2025, the candidate is required to work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day from home

- From January 5, 2026, the candidate is required to work onsite 5 days a week fully

Contract 5+ months

· Develops, recommends, implements and manages the technical architecture (hardware, software, database and communications) which will be used for all or specific applications in a large, distributed cross-platform environment.

· Responsible for developing enterprise architecture deliverables based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practices for Engagement Platform Expansion

· Responsibilities also include the identification of relevant information and the determination of the environment, which will be used for development.

Must-Have's:

• Extensive experience with multiple cloud platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communications protocols
• Knowledge and understanding of Amazon Web Services, Amazon Cloud and Amazon Connect applications
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing principles, concepts, policies and practices
• Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) based on Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practice

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with generative AI in an AWS cloud set-up.
