RQ09721 - Sr. Systems Testing/QA Specialist

Downtown Toronto (Yonge St)

Hybrid - - Candidate MUST work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote - Starting October 20, resources are expected to come into the office 4 days per week. Starting January 5, resources are expected to come into the office 5 days per week. This is subject to change based on manager discretion or change in OPS policy.

Contract 5+ months, possible extension

Security Level: CRJMC (must get clearance before start date)

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the health domain data platform.

· Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

· Validate data engineering activities, ensuring data quality, integrity and optimal performance.

· Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis.

· Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.

· Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation strategies.

· Provide clear and concise documentation and reports on testing outcomes.

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years of experience in quality assurance and software system testing
• 5+ years in the following:
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing or maintaining relational database management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Public Sector experience
