Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Contract (7-8 months)
Responsibilities:
Creates professional technical project and user documentation, including systems and operational procedures
General Skills Experience in the creation of technical project and user documentation, including procedures at the specified experience level
Experience with a wide range of technical writing methods, tools and techniques and knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Knowledge and experience in developing on-line documentation
Knowledge and experience with at least one platform
Knowledge and experience with communications protocols
Knowledge and experience with tools for the creation, distribution and maintenance of project and user documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills; and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate with cross functional teams (development, business, testers) and a wide range of audiences
Ability to create a quick start guide covering the main steps a user will follow
Ability to create a detailed configuration/administrative guide to users covering all details required
Experience and ability to create a glossary or list of terms and definitions
Experience with office automation suites, presentation tools, and at least one authoring package
A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
Proficiency in English Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards Skilled at using standard technical writing tools such as Microsoft Office and/or Adobe Technical Communication Suite
