Deliverables: Strategic Business Analysis and Technical Expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

The Resource will provide strategic advice and technical expertise on Data Centre Network infrastructure services in order to facilitate the development of Second Stage Request for Bids (RFB's) for a variety of Data Centre Network technologies and architecture delivered based on the clients service specifications, standards, policies, best practices and cost models. This will include the drafting of strategic documents, presentations, financial models.

The Resource will lead the posting of these Second stage RFB's working with various Government groups to accomplish a successful RFB outcome and will also develop materials in line with the OPS service delivery processes, infrastructure policies, procedures and direction, cost models and established procurement processes.

The Resource will incorporate I&IT information mandates, strategic plans, I&IT environment and standards into the materials.

Evaluation Breakdown

1. In-depth knowledge of Data Centre Networks (DCN) Infrastructure Technology and Architecture - 30%

Parameters:

• Demonstrated 10+ years experience working at an Enterprise level in a technical or business capacity with experience in n-Tiered Data Centre Networks and Tier-IV Data Centre environments.

2. Experience in developing procurement documentation for DCN related; Request for Bids(RFB's), Request for Deliverables (RFD's); and Request for Information (RFI's) - 20%

Parameters:

• Demonstrated 5+ years preparing/developing and responding to RFB's, RFD's and RFI's related to complex Enterprise Data Centre Networks hosted in a certified Tier-IV Data Centre.

3. Understanding of DCN service strategies and provider models - 10%

Parameters:

• Demonstrated 7+ years experience evaluating, analyzing and developing Data Centre Network strategies and models.

4. Experience analyzing and evaluating service delivery models for DCN - 10%

Parameters:

• Demonstrated 8+ years' conducting business analysis related to Data Centre service delivery and evaluating service delivery models for next generation services such as Hybrid Cloud; on-premise private and off-premise public cloud, IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.

Must Haves:

In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and data center

Must have experience analyzing and evaluating delivery models for data center networks

Experience with OPS Procurement directives.
