Qualifications

• 
  Completion of a professional accounting designation or a
  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent
  combination of education and work experience in accounting or financial
  management.
• 
  A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP Finance or
  related roles, including experience in system implementation and end-user
  support.
• 
  Extensive experience in municipal accounting or relevant
  private sector experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• 
  Extensive SAP business analyst project related experience
• 
  Strong understanding of financial principles and business
  processes.
• 
  Proficiency in SAP Financial Modules (FI, CO), Materials
  Management and an understanding of SAP integration with other systems.
• 
  Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is highly required.
• 
  Experience with reporting tools such as SAP Fiori.
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 
  Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• 
  Proven skills in team collaboration and stakeholder
  management.
• 
  Experience preparing and maintaining associated project
  documentation as necessary

  Experience participating in the deployment of the new

Assignment of Duties

• 
  Document Business Requirements and Functional/Detail

  Review and provide input to business requirements.

  Prepare and maintain associated project documentation as
  necessary

  Create test plans, training materials and system
  documentation for internal and external clients

  Prepare and maintain SAP business process documentation as
  necessary and use the SAP business process repository

  Participate in project planning, change management,
  communications, testing, training, go‐live and post go‐live
  support activities
• 
  Ensure that financial systems adhere to regulatory standards
  and internal policies.
• 
  Mitigate risks by recommending controls within SAP systems.
• 
  Identify inefficiencies within financial workflows and
  recommend improvements enabled by SAP.
• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize
  operations.
• 
  Analyze complex data and convert business needs into
  technical solutions.
