Qualifications and Experience:

  University/College degree in Computer Science. Certification
  in Software Engineering or equivalent a definite asset.
• 
  Minimum of 5 years of proven hiring records with cloud
  platform and CI/CD pipelines related positions.
• 
  Extensive experience in all facets of application
  development lifecycle (unit, functional, integration, system, regression,
  penetration, performance and user acceptance testing) a definite asset
• 
  Solid experience in executing Systems Integration using
  Linux Shell scripting.
• 
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 
  Experience in tracking problems and defects within a large
  project.
• 
  Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  environment.

Technical Capabilities:

• 
  Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as
  AWS, OpenShift etc.
• 
  Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments,
  like CentOS, Ubuntu to support applications and services.
• 
  Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Java,
  JavaScript, Node, etc.
• 
  Experience in build tools like Git, Ansible, CloudFormation,
  ytt etc. for continuous integration
• 
  Experience in application code containerization and
  container-based virtualization technology like Docker, K8S etc.
• 
  Experience in container management and orchestration to
  automate application deployment, application scaling/clustering, monitoring and
  others
• 
  Integration experience in building and using APIs or other
  integration endpoints
• 
  Experience applying industry web, architectural and security
  standards and best practices.

The candidate is responsible for:

• 
  Assess frameworks, platform, or tech stack to assist in
  creating cloud-based solutions
• 
  Design, build and support cloud environments to deploy
  digital products.
• 
  Design, build, develop and administer CI/CD pipeline to
  support continuous development and deployment of modular cloud-based systems
• 
  Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a
  cloud environment to ensure solutions are available.
• 
  Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure
  vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• 
  Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data
  integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
