Position: Programmer (1-Year Contract)
Location: Sathorn, Bangkok (Next to BTS Chong Nonsi)
Work Arrangement: Onsite Monday to Friday
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Programmer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform. If you have experience in RPG (RPGLE / RPG IV) and CL (Control Language) programming, and enjoy solving problems in a collaborative environment, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain programs in RPG (RPGLE / RPG IV), CL (Control Language), and Query on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform.
Work with Physical Files (PF), Logical Files (LF), Display Files (DSPF), and Printer Files (PRTF)
Create Batch Jobs / Job Schedules, Interactive Programs, CL Scripts, Menus, and Reports based on user requirements.
Collaborate with users to capture requirements, analyze, and provide effective solutions.
Support existing applications and resolve issues promptly.
Work closely with team members to share knowledge and ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2-3 years of hands-on experience in RPG (RPGLE / RPG IV) and CL (Control Language) on IBM iSeries (AS/400)
Experience in the non-life insurance industry is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.
