The RPA& Intelligent AutomationDeveloper will be responsible for analyzing business processes and designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise automation solutions using UiPath, Power Platform, and other intelligent automation technologies.
The role requires strong technical expertise in workflow automation, enterprise system integration, OCR/Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and AI-assisted automation capabilities. The developer will contribute to scalable automation architecture, reusable framework development, governance adherence, and operational support across global business functions.
The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, infrastructure teams, security teams, architects, and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions aligned with Brenntag standards and global automation strategy.
The role also includes supporting production automations, hypercare activities, troubleshooting, deployment coordination, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the automation ecosystem.
The RPA & Intelligent Automation Developerwill report to the RPA Team Lead
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, implement, and maintain workflow automation and RPA solutions across global business functions
Analyze existing business processes to identify automation opportunities and assess technical feasibility
Develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation components following enterprise standards
Build and support unattendedautomationusing UiPath and related automation platforms
Develop OCR and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions for structured and semi-structured documents
Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems such as SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle ERP, Microsoft platforms, web applications, and APIs
Develop and support API-based integrations and structured data processing
Participate in automation solution design discussions, code review and architecture reviews
Contribute to automation governance, development standards, and best practices
Support deployment, production monitoring, hypercare, incident resolution, and operational maintenance of automation solutions
Work with Orchestrator components including queues, assets, triggers, logs, monitoring, and scheduling
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure secure and compliant automation deployments
Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production issues
Create and maintain PDD, Architecture diagrams, operational guides, and solution design documents
Collaborate effectively with global teams across APAC, EMEA, and Americas regions
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Intelligent Automation program
Stay updated with emerging technologies including AI-assisted automation, LLM integrations, and intelligent workflow capabilities
EssentialRequirements:

Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
Minimum 4 years of hands-on RPA / Intelligent Automation development experience
Strong hands-on experience with UiPath development and enterprise automation implementation
UiPath Automation Developer Associateor Automation Developer Professional certification
Strong understanding of REFramework or equivalent enterprise automation frameworks
Strong knowledge of exception handling, queue-based processing, retry mechanisms, logging, and transaction management
Experience working with UiPath Orchestrator including queues, assets, triggers, scheduling, and monitoring
Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise applications such as SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle ERP, and web platforms
Experience consuming REST APIs and handling structured data formats
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Experience supporting production automations and handling post-production incidents
Good understanding ofautomation,governance and development best practices
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global cross-functional teams
Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach toward delivery and operational excellence

Exposure to AI-assisted automation, LLM integrations, AI agents, or intelligent workflow automation
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform / Power Automate

Experience with Git and CI/CD deployment practices
Basic SQL and database knowledge
Exposure to cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure
Understanding of credential management and secure automation practices (e.g., CyberArk)
