JOB PURPOSE
To design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that integrate scheduling tools (e.g., Zena), API execution, and middleware scripting beyond ESB capabilities. The role supports enterprise automation initiatives, including NFM scripting and Java-based development.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java, NFM, and Zena Scheduler.
Design and implement API integrations for internal and external systems, including PayNet and APIMG endpoints.
Build middleware logic to handle orchestration tasks.
Convert data formats (e.g., JSON to CSV/PDF) and manage secure file transfers between staging servers and portals.
Collaborate with RPA and CloudOps teams to align automation with business needs.
Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and deployment of automation scripts.
Document technical designs, workflows, and job configurations for Zena and NFM environments.
Provide support and troubleshooting for deployed automation solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in Java programming and scripting.
Experience with Zena Scheduler, NFM (Network File Manager), and API development.
Familiarity with middleware orchestration.
Understanding of secure data transmission, including TLS, JWT, and encryption protocols.
Experience in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation streams.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in automation development.
Experience in financial services or enterprise-grade automation projects.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
