JOB MISSION:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals while modeling the values and leadership competencies of New Balance.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage and oversee customer routing functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders.
  • Ensure that all routing schedules are accurately entered and maintained in Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Proactively flag and inform Customer Operations of relevant issues.
  • Oversee accurate and timely entry of routing guides into WMS.
  • Monitoring and managing ensuring compliance of SLAs.
  • Work with commercial partners and customers to ensure deliveries are scheduled on time and correctly.
  • Supervise the routing team, ensuring work is performed accurately and timely. Assign and monitor workloads.
  • Develop and maintain an effective organization through hiring, training, developing, and motivating assigned associates.
  • Set standards for routing processes. Oversee creation/maintenance of SOP’s Measure and report on work function standards weekly.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reports and summaries for weekly leadership review.
  • Ensure that safety, productivity, and continuous improvement programs are established and followed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
  • Interview, hire and terminate in coordination with Human Resources and according to company policies.
  • Train, assist and remove barriers that may block associates from reaching the company goals. Interact and coordinate activities with other groups within the company.
  • Track employee hours, discipline, and time off via Workday and TeamSense.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • 2+ years of wholesale routing experience strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisor experience strongly preferred.
  • Strongly demonstrated knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the distribution and demand planning process, including WMS (Manhattan a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Strong verbal and written skills utilizing appropriate demeanor, proper grammar/spelling, and respectful tone to communicate clearly and effectively; professional phone demeanor.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), WMS and email.
  • Ability to manage, motivate, solve problems and communicate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; detail oriented.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities is essential.
  • Proven track record of stability and dependability in the workplace.
  • Sit/stand and work on a computer for long periods of time.

Salt Lake City, UT Distribution Center Only Pay Range: $71,900.00 - $92,800.00 - $113,700.00 Annual (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
