Pay Range: $24–$26 per hour

Job Description:

Our distribution and order fulfillment warehouse has an immediate opening for a Routing & Logistics Coordinator. We are seeking an experienced logistics professional with 5+ years of routing and shipping experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all routing activities, ensuring timely and accurate shipments for our retail clients (Target, Walmart, JCPenney, Kohl’s). This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage priorities, maintain compliance with retail routing guides, and support continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Route pickups and deliveries for major retail clients (Target, Walmart, JCPenney, Kohl’s).
  • Verify and approve routing details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Calculate cubed dimensions and shipment volumes.
  • Review and generate Bills of Lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
  • Oversee EDI transactions (753/754 and others) and ensure timely document transmission.
  • Collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and customer service departments to meet shipping schedules.
  • Maintain and enforce routing standards, ensuring efficient, on-time, and cost-effective shipments.
  • Identify process improvements to optimize logistics performance and workflow efficiency.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in shipping and routing to major retail customers (Target, Walmart, JCPenney, Kohl’s highly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of EDI processes and retail routing compliance.
  • Skilled in shipment planning, volume calculations, and documentation preparation.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under time-sensitive conditions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in routing, logistics, or transportation coordination.
  • Excellent computer skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • U.S. work authorization required.
