The Role
A Routing Clerk coordinates between various Operational departments such as Fulfillment, Shipping, Returns, to manage customer orders including Customer’s Logistics teams and Transport Carriers. Responsible for the efficient dispatch of freight and handle associated administration. Supports the Routing function by managing customer orders from Fulfillment to Shipping; Work with internal/external parties to ensure orders are shipping timely; Communicate with carriers daily to execute shipments; Prepare shipping documents such as bills of ladings for load tendering; Research issues and discrepancies on shipments; Maintain records of all shipments per Transportation guidelines; Follow customer guidelines when preparing shipments.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Responsible for much of the logistics administration in both road transport and shipping. Ensure files and records are maintained with no outstanding discrepancies or reports whilst also examining any documents to ensure completeness and accuracy Prepare information for any required Shipping schedules Resolve complaints and eliminate delays by closely working with supervisors and shipping personnel to assess progress and improve efficiency.
