Job Description

Responsibilities

Mission Linen Supply is hiring motivated, sales-driven Route Relief Drivers to drive and service customers on designated routes in your community, grow accounts, and earn real commission on the business you build.

This isn't a delivery job with a sales title; it's a B2B sales and account management role that happens to come with a truck. Proven sales and customer service experience is required.

Why Mission Linen Supply

If you're looking for a stable, essential-services industry where your work matters every single day, this role is built for that. Mission Linen Supply is a family-owned, privately held company and a leading provider of linen, uniform, and facility service products across five western states. Founded in 1930 and headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA, Mission has grown from a one-man operation into an industry leader, while remaining stable, essential, and steadily growing. Industrial laundry and linen services are a recession-resistant, essential industry. Hospitals, hotels, and restaurants need clean linens and uniforms regardless of the economy. That means real, ongoing opportunities for career advancement, not a static org chart.

Compensation

  • Starting pay: $21.97 - $27.49 an hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location
  • Once assigned a route: average total annual compensation for Route Sales & Service Representatives exceeds $80,000, with uncapped commission potential based on the new business and account growth you drive
  • Career path from Route Relief Driver into a dedicated Route Sales & Service Representative territory

  • Retirement savings program
  • Paid time off (sick, holiday, vacation)
  • Full-time employment with full benefits

  • Upsell existing customers on additional products and services
  • Drive a truck to deliver and pick up linen, uniforms, and related products on schedule; load and unload the truck

  • Maintain inventory and follow company inventory-control policies
  • Handle invoicing, collections, customer signatures, and accurate delivery and transaction records
  • Clean and perform routine maintenance on your truck, and maintain a professional appearance at every stop
  • Learn new technology and systems quickly and adapt to updates independently
  • Attend training and service department meetings
