About the Role:
The Route Accounting Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of delivery and route-related financial data within the organization. This position is responsible for managing and reconciling route sales, verifying proof-of-delivery (POD) documentation, and maintaining detailed records to support billing and collections. The clerk works closely with delivery drivers, sales teams, and accounting departments to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly. By maintaining organized, precise route accounting records, this role supports the company's overall financial health and operational efficiency. The Route Accounting Clerk helps ensure clear communication between field operations and finance, supports informed business decisions, and improves customer satisfaction.
