Position: Roustabout
Star Services LLC is hiring for a leading oil and gas service company that provides a wide range of services to the energy sector. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Roustabout to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a Roustabout, you will be responsible for providing support to the drilling and production operations on oil and gas rigs. You will assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the rig, as well as perform various manual labor tasks as needed. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of drilling and production equipment
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on rig equipment and structures
- Assist in the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools to perform various tasks
- Clean and maintain rig floors, decks, and other areas as needed
- Assist in the mixing and handling of drilling fluids
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Roustabout or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of oil and gas drilling and production operations is an asset
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to work long hours and be on call as needed
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
