MV-75 Fatigue and Fractures Team
Bring your experience and ideas to serve as the Deputy to the Structural Qualification IPT Manager for the MV‑75 program supporting FLRAA Weapon System qualification activities. You'll assist in managing fatigue testing and analysis planning, coordinating structural flight test readiness, preparing technical documentation, and integrating work across Structures IPTs.You'll work closely with the IPT Lead to ensure clear communication across engineering teams, maintain alignment with program objectives, and support regular interactions with the U.S. Army Systems Readiness Directorate and Program Management Office personnel. This role is well‑suited for a technical leader seeking growth in IPT leadership, customer engagement, and cross‑functional coordination.
What you’ll be doing as a Rotorcraft Structural Integrity Lead
Support the Structural Qualification IPT Lead in planning, coordinating, and executing fatigue testing and qualification activities
Assist in leading daily operations of the Fatigue Engineering team
Prepare and deliver clear, concise technical updates to internal teams, leadership, and USG customers
Facilitate communication and collaboration across MV-75 Structures IPTs, Bell labs, Test and Manufacturing organizations, suppliers, and government stakeholders
Contribute to schedule development, status tracking, risk identification, and resource planning
Assist in the development and maintenance of qualification reports, analyses, and the Rotorcraft Structural Integrity Program Master Plan
Support coordination of structural flight test activities
Provide technical leadership on assigned tasks and mentor less‑experienced team members
Skills you Bring to this Role
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a structures engineering discipline (fatigue, stress analysis, structural test, or related area).
Experience contributing to project schedules, planning activities, and coordinating technical work
Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective coordination across multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and the ability to lead tasks or small work packages
Knowledge of Structures Airworthiness Certification Criteria, preferred
Experience with fatigue or structural test exposure, preferred
Ability to independently lead tasks, solve problems, and support broader team execution
Demonstrated growth mindset and aspiration toward future leadership roles
