Rotor Blade Maintenance & Repair Technician

You will be responsible for maintenance and repair work on rotor blades for ENERCON wind turbines installed throughout Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a three-person team and travel to job sites using a service vehicle.
• Conduct inspections and repair work on the interior of rotor blades from within the wind turbine.
• Perform repair work on the exterior of rotor blades using work platforms and gondolas.
• Note: This position does not involve work that modifies building structures.

Work Location

• Nationwide transfer assignment within Japan

Required Skills and Experience

Required

• Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following:
  • Painting/coating work
  • Grinding/sanding work
  • FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) repair
  • Rotor blade maintenance and repair

Preferred

• IRATA certification
• Experience working at heights

Qualifications

Required

• Ordinary Motor Vehicle Driver’s License (Class 1)

Preferred

• IRATA certification
• Automotive mechanic qualification

Education

• High school diploma or above
