Rotor Assembly – Product Quality Engineer
This Product Quality Engineer will be supporting Gas Turbine manufacturing operations, systems and components. The role is split between assisting the production team to resolve daily defects and implementing systemic improvements to eliminate the reoccurrence of defects. This role will be instrumental for our team to meet our quality standards, resolve defects, and make process improvements.

Roles and Responsibilitie

  • Maintain and optimize Built In Quality processes for Rotor Assembly.
  • Take ownership of defect/NCN (Non-conforming Notice) reviews and disposition.
  • Utilize 4D/8D problems solving tools to find defect root cause, implement corrective actions and verify that process improvements remain in place.
  • Implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects as an individual and as part of a multi-functional team to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity.
  • Work with design engineering to improve drawing/design definition to support Lean manufacturing process improvements.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques to assigned tasks and ensure that specific goals are met in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness to meet goals.
  • Once established in the role, assist and guide new PQE team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience)
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience or relevant intern or co-op experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $75,400.00 and $113,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
