Salary: FC6 £31,761.26 - £34,914.86

Working Pattern: 36 Hours per week

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for 3x Rostering Coordinator’s to be based within our care homes operated by OPS Residential & Day Services. This new position will involve being responsible for the Management of personnel and administration of care home services as well as coordinate the day-to-day organisation of central support teams of a care home service.

The successful candidates will be responsible for advising on scheduling issues including in emergency situations, this will include liaising with care home managers, senior staff and external companies/ agencies and ensuring contingency plans are in place for a 24-hour service over a 7-day week. This will include organising rotas to ensure full operational / service cover, (sometimes at short notice) and ensuring all care homes are adequately resourced.

The role also includes monitoring the quality of the service delivered and adherence of care home workers to service policies/procedures by conducting quality reviews of the service provision, in line with current procedures; whilst maintaining accurate up to date databases for all relevant records and taking responsibility for the effective application of information management systems, using the appropriate IT systems.

The Person

Provide care and support which meets the Health and Social Care standards. Must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service.

You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.

Must have or be able to work towards the required qualification SVQ Level 3/SCQF Level 7 Social Services and Healthcare and PDA Health and Social Care Supervision at SCQF Level 7 with 15 credits Or SVQ 4 Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9 Within the timeframes set at point of registration, once the qualification is achieved it is the person's responsibility to inform Scottish Social Services Council accordingly.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
