Rostering and Scheduling Manager | Blue Care

  • Employment Term: Full time permanent position

  • Location:Travel required between Caboolture, Ipswich and Gold Coast

  • Remuneration: Attractive industry salary package + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Allowances

The Rostering and Scheduling Manager plays a critical role in enabling highquality, safe and sustainable service delivery across both Community and Residential Aged Care. The role provides enterprisewide leadership for rostering and scheduling frameworks that align with careminute requirements, community funding rules, Enterprise Agreements, utilisationexpectationsand regulatory obligations.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead theenterprisewiderostering and scheduling strategy, ensuring consistent rules, standards,complianceand system use across Community and Residential services.

  • Oversee workforce modelling,safestaffingrequirements, productivityinitiativesand identification of structural workforce risks.

  • Partner with Digital & Technology to align systems,workflowsand enhancements with operational needs.

  • Lead Residential and Community rostering functions to deliver compliant,stableand efficient rosters and schedules.

  • Monitor performance, address systemic issues and use data to guidedecisionmakingand risk escalation.

  • Build strongorganisationalpartnerships, support changeadoptionandprovideclear advice on operational impacts.

  • Lead and develophighperformingteams, fostering a positive culture, wellbeing, capabilitygrowthand accountability.

What makes a difference for us?

  • Tertiary qualifications in health,businessor related field

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex rostering and scheduling functions in large, multisite environments

  • Experience in operational management within Community or Residential Aged Care, Health or similar sectors deploying a mobile or diverse workforce

  • Advanced analytical capability, including interpretation of large operational data sets and performance insights

  • Experience developing business cases and delivering structured process improvement

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence across operational,clinicaland corporate settings

  • Proven capability to coach, develop and uplift team performance

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and drive collaborative outcomes

  • Qualifications in structured process improvement methodologies, for example Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, would be considered highlyadvantageous

  • Satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or organisational policy
