
Rostering Administrator
This fixed term contract position has been developed to provide
a single point of focus on identifying
and resolving bottlenecks in the organisation’s workforce scheduling processes.
Working with front line managers to improve and embed efficient rostering
practices, the Rostering Administrator will play a critical role in supporting
continuity of care for the clients we serve.
You will be responsible for the redesign, documentation and implementation of rostering practices for approximately 200
employees, ensuring ongoing coverage
across all shifts while meeting operational, compliance, and service delivery
requirements.
Specific Tasks
Build and maintain client‑specific support rosters including
backfill processes.
Develop systematic allocation of workers based on:
Ensure rosters align to service agreements and funding
and apply SCHADS Award rules correctly (overtime, broken shifts, rest breaks)
Communicate roster changes succinctly and professionally
within required time frame. Liaise regularly with:
·Timely Response to Shift Gaps and other
identified issues.

Technical & Professional Skills & Experience
1–3 years rostering or scheduling experience (disability,
aged care, or community services preferred)
Strong understanding of NDIS service delivery
Practical knowledge of:
SCHADS Award
NES obligations
Fatigue and safe rostering
Typical Experience & Background
Previous exposure to:
NDIS or human services
Award‑based workforces
Payroll, or workforce coordination experience preferred

Providing mental health, disability and community care support services in Toowoomba and SEQ.
