ROR Engineer - Onsite - Lahore

Hiring for one of our Real State Management Software in Lahore.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain clean, reusable, and reliable Ruby code

• Identify performance bottlenecks, squash bugs, and implement robust solutions

• Follow best practices for scalable app architecture and maintainable codebases

• Write automated tests and contribute to our TDD/BDD pipeline (RSpec, Cucumber)

• Build and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs

• Write service objects, query objects, and reusable CLI utilities using Ruby gems

• Work collaboratively in an Agile environment with CI/CD in place

What Were Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails

• Strong command over Rails 7+, Turbo Frames / Streams, and Stimulus

• Understanding of MVC, ORM, and design principles for scalable applications

• Familiar with design patterns: Singleton, Factory, Strategy, Observer, etc.

• Experience with relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, or Oracle

• Able to design database schemas that support complex business logic

• Hands-on experience with Git, version control, and code reviews

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CodeDeploy

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Memcached, or other performance tools

• Bonus: Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Ability to work independently and solve complex engineering problems

Salary: Market competitive - Taxfree

Timings: Mon to Fri 10am to 7pm

Experience: 3+ years in ROR Development
