STARTING SALARY $425+/week (DOE)

SHIFT Sunday – Friday, daily hourly breaks, housing and meals provided



Qualifications

  • Preferred Age: 19+
  • Oversee Ropes curriculum and operation
  • Maintain high safety standards for all staff and participants
  • Log usage of supplies
  • Lead in-services in conjunction with Administration team
  • Regularly communicate supply inventory/inspection with Administration team
  • Complete all Pathfinders for program area
  • Ensure cleanliness of program area
  • Operate as a Cabin Counselor outside of designated program times
  • Team player with personal commitment to YMCA Mission, Philosophy & Character Development Values
  • Ensure the emotional, mental, and physical safety of all participants
  • Complete required paperwork in timely manner
  • Work in tandem with other camp staff to create a safe and welcoming experience for all
  • Effectively manage camper behavior and homesickness
  • Inform leadership staff of any camper or staff concerns
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control, maturity, responsibility, sound judgment, and good decision-making skills
  • Be of good character, and in sympathy with the goals and objectives of YMCA Camp Piomingo
  • Other duties as assigned
