The Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport Waterfront is searching for a Rooms Supervisor to join the team.

Join the team at a beautiful 340-suite waterfront hotel overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in hospitality
  • Hotel front desk experience
  • Schedule flexibility

Classification: Full-Time

Shift Pattern: Full Availability, weekends and holidays are required

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Oversee front office operations: Manage front desk functions, including check-in/out, guest relations, and conflict resolution
  • Manage housekeeping operations: Oversee daily room assignments, monitor cleaning performance through inspections, and ensure readiness of guest rooms
  • Deliver guest service excellence: Ensure high-quality, consistent guest experiences by upholding brand standards and resolving issues with creativity, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Oversee service operations: Ensure Front Office and Housekeeping systems and procedures support exceptional service, smooth check-in/check-out, and room readiness
  • Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment

In addition, you are responsible for the following job duties:

  • Prepare daily forecast of expected arrivals and departures using analysis and judgement skills
  • Help resolve customer complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and the most effective resolution.
  • Prepare and conduct daily pre-shift meetings, communicate effectively with all staff and provide necessary information to provide guest service in accordance with Hilton standards.
  • Supervise front desk staff to insure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Complete reports, verify status reports, upload/update room status into property management system.
  • Perform linen inventory twice a year.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping department to manage rooms inventory and achieve maximum occupancy and profitability.
  • Oversee the Lost & Found
  • Coordinate training for front desk and housekeeping team
  • Monitor par stock and place orders for office and operating supplies,
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
