Summary:

Stride Early Learning is a Perth-owned group of 12 childcare centers, due to growth we are looking for passionate, Diploma-qualified educators ready to step up and lead a room. Whether you are an experienced Room Leader or a confident Diploma educator ready for your first leadership role, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a designated room, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning and development.
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
• Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
• Child Protection training (or willingness to complete it)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Working with Children Check clearance
